Ceremonial Opening of the Session Hall at Mirigama Lee Dassenaike Scout Camp was held on 24th September 2009.

Guest of Honour was Ms. Emily Hicks, the Vice Counselor of Embassy of USA and Chief Guest was Hon. V Puththirasigamoney, Deputy Minister of Justice and Law Reform.

Some of Commissioners of the NHQ and the District officials were also participated.  The ground arrangements for this ceremony was organized by the District Commissioner and officials of Gampaha District. Many Scouts & Leaders from the District were present.
